So yesterday we had the day off from the usual full days of rehearsal and masterclasses. So myself and 4 other of my friends went to Munich for the day. We started off with lunch at the Augustiner Brauhaus, then went shopping at all 5 of the H&M’s haha. THen we finished the day at the world famous Hofbrauhaus! MMmmmmm Apple Strudle! Needless to say it was an extremely fun day! Today was a full day of all of the Musical Theatre students in a masterclass each performing a song….which took forever! Afterwards myself and a few other students from UM went to eat dinner at Bruce and Darla’s house to talk about the Hamburg Church Plant. A team of myself and a few others have come together to start an arts church in Hamburg, Germany. This experience is exactly what UM wants us as students to do. The motto “Changing Lives to Change the World” really does apply to this. With my past three years at UM i have changed for the better and in doing so, will now have a chance to change the world and lead others to his kingdom. I ask that any of you reading this blog pray for our church planting team relentlessly and without ceasing. Pray for job security for myself and the other performers, since our visas will be strictly performance artists that is all that we will be able to do to make money. Second, pray for a venue for us to start this church in. We are hoping to find a run down theatre or cafe preferably, but its what God wants in the end….not us haha. Third, pray that God will provide us all with a house large enough to house all 8 of us, that way cost will be cut on housing and food. Thank you in advance for your prayers! Till next time!
